G3 Event Postponed
Dear G3 Stakeholders, Participants, Donors & Volunteers,
It is with regret to inform you that we have decided to postpone this year’s G3 event.
We are convinced with the line up of chefs, wine and auction lots we would have been able to throw a great party, as usual. The major concern we have as well as those associated with planning this event is the interest level and ticket purchases to date are very low. In light of the economic anxiety everyone is rightfully experiencing, we could not have had G3 scheduled for a worse time this year. This event is without question a victim of circumstance and from speaking with others apparently not the only one this year.
The last thing we want to do is to make this event a losing or break even proposition and therefore we have decided to postpone and are looking at late spring of 2009.
For those of you who have donated money, auction lots or purchased tickets please contact Alison Ganse, if you will need or want a refund or the item returned. Of course, if you are still able and willing to part with the money, it will be greatly appreciated as CCS needs everyone’s help more than ever. We hope we can still count on all of you who stepped up to be a part of this event in 2009.
Thank you all so very much for your willingness to be a part of helping this great cause and we look forward to being in touch with our future plans in the near future.
