Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) brings children with special needs (age 3 – 18) together with dedicated foster care families. For many children Therapeutic Foster Care is often the last chance they have to be placed with a family in a community setting.

 

 

 


CCS matches caring, skilled foster parents with children who have problems related to trauma, learning disabilities, and emotional/ behavior difficulties. TFC is a valuable alternative to costly psychiatric hospitalization or institutionalization and it presents opportunities for life learning, unconditional love, safety and security.

  • Regular Parenting Classes
  • Educational Conferences, Films and Books
  • Psychological Counseling
  • On- call Support 
  • Regular, Professional Support and Consultation
  • Advocacy 
  • Summer Day Camp
  • After- school Programming
  • Respite Care
  • CCS Youth Group
