CCS values the unique talents, gifts, personalities, personal and professional interests of each of our Volunteers. The following list includes some suggested areas of involvement with our agency, and links to information about our programs. Please do not let these options limit your search or contribution. If you have a special contribution you would like to make (i.e. teaching a workshop, taking the initiative to plan something you think would benefit the mission of our agency in some way) - we want to hear from you, and will be glad to customize your Volunteer experience around what you wish to share with us!

Who can Volunteer? CCS welcomes the time contributions of youth, young adults and adults seeking to help their communities, those participating in student community service activities, student intern projects, alternative sentencing programs, employee volunteering programs, community/corporate groups, CCS employees, and the youth, young adults and adults in CCS TFC, Respite, and Adult Programs. The type of service activity each Volunteer is able to pursue will depend on certain screening, orientation, training and policy requirements associated with each activity. Our goal is to promote overall the most positive and safe experience for Volunteers and clients possible.

Up and coming: As our Volunteer Program grows - in an effort to support our Volunteers in the best way (from a Volunteer's perspective) - we will be developing a Volunteer Advisory Committee to guide our program planning and recognition efforts ongoing. As you get involved with CCS, should you wish to serve on this committee, please let us know, and we will welcome your valuable feedback!
